A Suction Blast Cabinet is an enclosed abrasive blasting system that uses compressed air to create a vacuum effect inside a blasting gun. This draws abrasive media from a storage hopper into the airflow and directs it through a nozzle onto the component surface. The process helps remove surface contaminants, light rust, scale, and selected coatings while providing controlled cleaning and surface finishing. Because the abrasive is drawn into the gun rather than supplied from a pressurized abrasive vessel, suction cabinets are well suited to many light- and medium-duty workshop applications. The cabinet typically includes a blasting chamber, viewing window, access gloves, blasting gun, abrasive hopper, and dust extraction arrangement.
